Second Annual Shak’s Back Pack School Supply Community Drive

Shakeilya W. Shaw Scholars Education Foundation, Founded October 2021 Shakeilya W. Shaw, a former Special Education Elementary School Teacher in an urban school district in NYC, passed in 2021 at the young age of 43. She spent the past 22 years collecting and preparing school supply packages to advance education. Our mission is to continue her legacy by advancing education while relieving the distressed and economically disadvantaged students in the urban city school districts. Our foundation will provide these school supplies to support family relief for students in the community. Our foundation is pleased to partner with Christ Fellowship Baptist Church (Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn) to bring Shak's Backpack Community School Supply Drive to our local community. Donate some new school supplies for children in need by clicking and making a selection from our wishlist. Please support us as we continue to fill back packs with school supplies for students in need. Our goal is to fill 200+ Shak’s Back Packs to support family relief for economically disadvantaged students and families impacted by COVID-19, homelessness and/or foster care. "Shakeilya W.
