Clothes Cabin

Wishlist Created: 03/16/2020

One Small Step provides high quality clothing, shoes, household linens, and hygiene items to people in need. More than 2,000 families annually rely on Clothes Cabin to receive help and more than 200 homeless individuals come weekly to use the free services such as laundry, showers, storage lockers, and mail boxes. In addition, the organization's Back to Work program helps people get and keep a job by offering new steel-toed work boots or non-skid shoes, uniforms, scrubs, and interview clothing. In addition to the clothing distributed at the regional service center in Gilbert, thousands of articles of surplus clothing and shoes are distributed by a dozen partner agencies serving low-income individuals and families in the same manner. Because we have high standards for the products we offer, there are often shortages, particularly in children's clothing, which must be met by purchasing new items. We welcome the assistance of our community in filling those gaps. Athletic shoes, towels and sheets, hygiene products, t-shirts, and any type of children's wear are greatly appreciated.
