Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc. is and has always been operated with no county funding, existing only from donations, volunteers, grants and contributions. Donations have slowed due to the very uncertain economic conditions of our donors brought on by CoVid 19 public health crisis. Supplies are needed to continue to operate safely while reducing the risk of community spread. These supplies will be used for the staff, volunteers, animals care for in our shelter facility as well as those animals in need in our community.^~^Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc is currently one of only two state licensed shelter facilities located in Randolph County, North Carolina. The other shelter is operated by the county. Although many great strides have recently been made to improve the adoption programs at the county animal control facility, the county shelter still remains over crowded. For the past 39 years Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc. has provided shelter for the homeless animals of Randolph County and its surrounding areas. The foundation receives no government funding and is funded primarily from private donors, sponsors and volunteers.
