cheer bags for cancer patients

We distribute cheer bags annually at treatment centers, especially to celebrate the holidays, such as spring, valentine day, fall, etc. we try to include such items as tissues, hats, gloves, word searches, pencils, note books in each bag. The patients cannot wait to see what goodies they may be receiving.^~^We are an all volunteer county wide group. We assist any cancer patient regardless of age or sex of patient or type of cancer. We assist with nutritional therapy, wigs, transportation, medical supplies and equipment and a limited amount of funds for rent or medicine. We had to cancel our major fund raisers due to the virus in 2020 including our spring tea party, garden walk and holiday home tour. We also had to cancel our annual free survivor's celebration of life event. We are beginning to work with a local support group of surviving partners.
