Liberia is currently working to rebuild itself after a particularly long and brutal period of civil war that saw it become the poorest country on earth. Eighty percent (80%) of the population lives below the poverty line; 14 % of Liberia suffer severe poverty - defined as the population living on less than U.S.D. $0.50 per day. The effects of the civil conflict continue to hamper access to educational services for the majority of Liberians, especially youth and children in rural and urban slums settlements. We intend to provide quality educational opportunities to children in Liberia. Your gifts of school supplies would help us continue to do so! Your generous donation of cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and medical supplies would allow the KL Foundation Community Health Center to work with rural communities in the promotion of hygiene and sanitation and improving the quality of life.^~^KL Foundation Impact International – a humanitarian Organization working with poor communities in Liberia, addressing needs associated with poverty, under-development, and social injustice. Originally known as Kingdom Love Foundation for Children Welfare and Development— is now called KL Foundation Impact International because its mission was reshaped to address the need of the larger community in Liberia.
