NAACP & HRC - Day of Service

The NAACP LV has partnered with the Human Rights Campaign to establish a collaborative community and corporate service effort in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, to support the students of Canyon Springs HS during the pandemic. The NAACP LV has adopted students from Canyon Springs High School. According to school leadership, over 2,800 students are experiencing significant needs during the pandemic with minimal contact with the school for services while their education is conducted online. Volunteers will create Care Kits that support the needs of the students. The Care Kits will provide essential care items, access to information and educate students about resources available in the community to help improve current challenges.
