On an annual basis, our Community assistance Program issues over 80,000 worth of clothing vouchers to both our residents and the broader community ( men, women, and children ). The program offers basic household goods to families in need. Its that simple. through generous donations from the community,we are able to distribute clothing, bedding, kitchen and hygiene. We house up to 70 men and provide shoes, coats,shirts,pants,under garments ,sweatshirts and varies dress for job interviews, We serve 3 meals each day (except for Sunday). Last year we served more than 106,000 hot nutritious meals. Our dining room is open to anyone in need of a meal .^~^The Christian Center was founded by World War 11 veteran Lloyd Lambert ,who in 1955 ministered to the men ,women and children of the community faithfully for 65 years. This year over 106,000 meals will be served out of the dining room to the shelter residents and the public . TCC has the only community dining room in Madison County serving meals everyday. Nearly 42,000 articles of clothing and hygiene products are distributed each year to men, women and children in our community. On average 81.5% of those served by Community Assistance are women and children. The Christian Center is the only emergency shelter for men in Madison County. TCC has 70 beds to accommodate men.
