Volcanic Relief

I live in Virginia and am posting this on behalf of someone else. The La Soufrière volcano on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent began a series of explosive eruptions on April 9, sending clouds of hot ash some 20,000 feet into the air, blanketing much of the island in ash and causing water and electricity outages. ~20,000 people are displaced and in need of food, masks, and clean, filtered water. My friend Kellian lives near one of the shelters and has asked me to send her a barrel of goods. I can’t afford it by myself but I thought as a community we could pitch in. I found a place locally in Norfolk, VA that ships barrels to the Islands, and I’m asking for donations so that I can pick up supplies she’s requested as well as pay for the shipping and cost of the barrel. anything helps
