. My name is Mrs. Brenda Sharpe, and I am the Director of Student Ministries at the historic Haven of Rest Missionary Baptist Church. I am sending you this correspondence in an effort to garner your support for our church’s upcoming Back to School Festival. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at noon, in the parking lot of Haven of Rest Missionary Baptist Church. It is our church’s objective to supply the community’s children with the essentials needed for the upcoming school year. Because our church was unable to secure sponsorship for this endeavor; we are counting on the generosity of donors such as you. We are praying that our community partners would help us by donating notebooks, pens and pencils and all other classroom necessities. No donation would be too big or too small.
