First Annual Back 2 School Bash

For our 1st Annual Back 2 School Bash, we will service at least 250 students in South Los Angeles! Each student will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. This wish list will benefit this event as it will allow supporters to directly purchase backpacks and other supplies we need to reach our goal. We have no other sources of funding outside of donation and this wish list is a way to securely support us. Remember support is can be FREE. If you are unable to make a purchase at this time, please share our wish list as our next donor could be amongst your friends and family. Thank you.^~^Our Mission Youth GROW empowers individuals and families by providing resources to prevent and overcome homelessness. Our Vision Youth Gaining Resources and Opportunities For Wealth is a nonprofit organization committed to the mental, emotional, and financial growth of children, youth and families experiencing homelessness in the city of Los Angeles. We are dedicated to preventing and eliminating homelessness within the community by meeting children in the one place are guaranteed to be: school. Students have no choice but to attend school regardless of their family’s financial capabilities, causing an uncomfortable learning environment on many different levels. Funding We currently rely solely on the kindness and generosity of our community by accepting both monetary and in kind donations. With your help we can continue to grow and support our neighbors with the many necessities for daily living.
