Welcome to the Harbor House Collaborative Wish List!
The Harbor House is a self-sufficiency program for the chronically homeless substance abuser. Through the program, motivated individuals can receive transitional supportive housing for up to 18 months, intensive case management, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, counseling services, life skills support and recovery support services. The goal is for residents to become sober, self-sufficient and live independently.

We provide multi-dimensional services to individuals and the general public affected by the disease of addiction. Through individual counseling, group counseling, outreach and public education programming, our goal is to provide individual assistance to help minimize the harm that alcohol and drug use has on individuals, families, the community and society.
Housing First –or rapid re-housing as it is also known, is an alternative to the current system of emergency shelter/transitional housing, which tends to prolong the length of time that individuals remain homeless. The methodology is premised on the belief that vulnerable and at-risk homeless are more responsive to interventions and social services support after they are in their own housing rather than temporary housing.
Safe Harbor: A Recovery Experience for Women is a gender specific, outpatient substance abuse treatment program for women, pregnant women, women who have delivered a drug or alcohol exposed infant, female offenders, women with emotional and trauma issues. Our therapeutic process for treating female substance abuse uses family, group and individual counseling.
