Welcome to the Boy Scouts Troop 40 Supporting the VA Wish List.
Boy Scout Troop 40 from Westville, NJ is performing a service project to support the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Donations collected through this program are also going to the Veterans' in the state run nursing homes, and also to the out patient clinics in the area as well.
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center has the distinction of being awarded several National Research Centers of Excellence including: Parkinson’s Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center (PADRECC); Mental Illness Research Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC); Center for Health Equity, Research and Promotion (CHERP); Center of Excellence for Substance Abuse Treatment and Education (CESATE) and Regional Sleep Center. Philadelphia VAMC is home to a Polytrauma Rehabilitation Network Site and provides a high level of expert care, and clinical and ancillary resources for the OIF/OEF veteran population.
