Our communities are underserved. With the recent Coronavirus outbreak, calls to Domestic Violence shelters and hotlines are up. We're in a middle of a pandemic and doctors estimate that 1 in 20 people in Dallas might have Covid-19. In the past, we've helped survivors in our communities with school supplies, backpacks, toys for kids, and everyday essentials. Now, we want to do that all year round. Black people are more likely to work on the front lines, less likely to have health insure, and more likely to die from contracting Covid-19. Help us expand our program by assisting people in getting reusable/washable face masks, hand sanitizer, protective face shields, clothing, and food. Help people remain safe at their jobs, in their communities, and to keep their families safe. How it works: Community members sign up for masks and other supplies and meet us at a community drop-off site. Join a coalition of people who are helping show how powerful we are when we work together. Small efforts can make a big impact.
