H.O.M.E. (Health Outreach through Medicine and Education)
Wishlist Created: 06/14/2017
^~^Health Outreach through Medicine and Education (H.O.M.E.) is a student club created by Arizona Osteopathic medical students in 1999 to provide free healthcare and health education to persons experiencing homelessness. Over time, as the university grew, the entire Midwestern University at Glendale campus was invited to join. This helps us to provide a well-rounded plan of care for the patients, and strengthens bonds between disciplines in the medical community.
Although COVID-19 is keeping us out of the shelters right now, we still continue to make a difference by donating goody bags filled with essentials to persons experiencing homelessness in Phoenix, AZ.
